PAGEANT AND REHEARSAL INFORMATION

The Pageant is divided into five divisions with a winner, a 1^st and 2^nd runner-up

in each division. The runner-ups will receive a banner and flowers in recognition of their achievement. The Queen will receive a beautiful crown, banner, and flowers. All Queens will represent FayetteCounty in parades and other events throughout their reign, and will be asked to return to crown the new Queen the following year.

***All Tiny Miss and Little Miss Contestants will receive a participation crown!***

PAGEANT DATES AND TIMES

(Time are subject to change, exact times will be given at rehearsals)

Junior Miss Pride (6^th – 8^th Grades)                                               8:00 pm, Friday, March 2

Tiny Miss Pride***3 – 4 Years Old)                                      11:30 am, Saturday, March 3**

Little Miss Pride (K – 2^nd Grades)                                             1:30 pm, Saturday, March 3

Young Miss Pride (3^rd – 5^th Grades)                                         4:30 pm, Saturday, March 3

Miss Pride (9^th – 12^th Grades)                                                   8:00 pm, Saturday, March 3

***Minimum Age of Tiny Miss Contestants***

Contestants MUST be 3 years of age by September 1, 2011. 5 year olds will be included

in this group if they if they were not old enough to start Kindergarten in 2011.  

ALL CONTESTANTS MUST BE RESIDENTS OF FAYETTE COUNTY, GEORGIA  OR ATTEND SCHOOL IN FAYETTE COUNTY, GEORGIA.

APPLICATION FEE AND MAILING ADDRESS

A $65.00 Registration Fee must be included with your application. Your fees may be paid for by a family member or business sponsor. The sponsor’s name will be printed in the program book and is announced as the contestant is introduced.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2012. ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED BY FEBRUAY 18, 2012!

Late applications will be accepted from February 19 – February 27 with a $10.00

Late Fee, however, listing in the program may not be possible at that late date.

TICKET PRICES

$7.00 per person, per pageant, or you may purchase an armband for $12.00

for all pageants. Children under 3 will be admitted free.

PROGRAM BOOK AND ADS

Personal or Business ads may be purchased for the Program Book. The Program Book is 5 x 7. A full page ad is $50.00, a half page ad is $25.00. If you would like to purchase an ad or if you need any information, please contact, Gina McKinney, 770-842-3710 or email gina@missprideoffayettecounty.com

Ads must be the correct size and camera ready.

MISS PRIDE PAGEANTS

There is no talent or swimsuit competition. Girls in the Tiny Miss Pride (3 – 4 Years) and the Little Miss Pride (K – 2^nd Grades) may wear a Sunday dress, flower girl style dress or a pageant style dress. All other divisions will need to wear a semi-formal to formal style dress. Each contestant will be judged on poise, beauty, interview and overall impression. Judges will only give a number score with no comments, therefore score sheets will not be given out.

ALL JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL.

MISS PRIDE OPTIONAL AWARDS

More opportunities to win! Judges will choose a winner in each age division for each optional. Winners will receive a crown and banner. Optionals are:  Most Beautiful, Best Dressed, and Best Smile. All Contestants are entered in optionals.

MISS PRIDE PHOTOGENIC AWARD

Enter your favorite photo of your contestant. $10.00 for 1^st photo, $5.00 for each additional photo entered. Winner will receive a crown and banner. Photogenic pictures MUST be brought to your child’s rehearsal and labeled with the contestant’s name and age division.

MISS PRIDE PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD

Each Pageant will host “The People’s Choice Award”. Anyone attending the pageant will be able to cast votes by ballot for $1.00 per vote to choose their favorite contestant. Ballot Sheets will be available in the lobby of Sams Auditorium. Winners will receive a beautiful crown. This award does not impact the judges’ decisions.

AND ARE REQUIRED.

(Sams Auditorium is located at 205 LaFayette  Avenue, Fayetteville.)

To ensure that the pageants run smoothly and that contestants enjoy the best possible pageant experience, you MUST attend rehearsal since changes may occur from year to year.
